I’ve seen a guy driving a vehicle with both feet out the window on the highway, car just on cruise control. I passed him just thinking “Dude what if you need to you know... stop?”

Or they could go the DBZ way of naming higher power levels and just add a number or concatenate previous names together.
They could do the:
RS2
SRS (Supper Rally Sport)
RS-ST
Or maybe throw in God ‘The Focus RS-God” has a nice ring to it.
I don’t think you understand that most people travel more than 30 miles in a single direction and these have to be downloaded before hand, it isn’t like it keeps the most recent 50 sq km.
It isn’t like you can plan ‘oh I am going to get lost here, I’ll download this map before I leave for my trip’.
Oh yeah, I totally plan ahead of time exactly where I am going to get lost so that I can download that 50 sq km map before I leave. /S
Actually after some other replies, it turns out it was G-Gundam. Although I think I am going to check out Gundam Wing, everyone seems to really like it.
You know, I honestly never thought about it from that angle. I’m in the US so coverage here is relatively decent, especially on verizon, so for me it is a relatively unlikely event. But now that you say that, yeah I mean download an entire country or more would be even handier for countries that don’t have the sort of…
Well aware of Here, which is why my first post in this thread literally why the opening post of this thread made by me says ‘Is this finally going to give me the option to download the entirety of the continental US like Here?’
Yup, that sounds totally sub-elitist. I don’t care how good the performances are in japanese. I can’t speak or understand japanese therefore that performance is lost on me. I can’t understand a single word. I’d much rather watch a performance that is sub-par that I can understand than an amazing one I can’t.
For me…
Guess I’ll be hitting the torrent sites. I’d rather support the series if I could, but sounds like there isn’t really any other choice.
Awesome, I’ll definitely give it a read and check some of them out. Is there anywhere to conveniently get dubbed versions affordably and legally? CrunchyRoll only ever seems to get subbed stuff. I actually have a funimation streaming subscription, but they don’t have gundam.
Well that is at least better than it was the last time I tried it... but that still doesn’t help you when you get lost in the middle of nowhere without data. Is it a likely scenario? Not really. But the peace of mind is nice. And having my map suck down data on my wifi to update maps instead of on my data plan is…
I swear that all the manufactures share a chassis for these things and just throw different head and tail lights on it.
Yeah someone else said it was basically just a straight up shonen style robot fighting tournament which sounds like something 8-10 year old me would have loved haha, but probably wouldn’t stand up to grown up me very well.
Looking into it more, it’s gotta be G Gundam. The english air-dates were in 2002 which puts me right at 10. And a shonen robot fighting tournament sounds exactly like what 10 year old me would have loved.
For someone looking to get into dubbed gundam, is there any specific series you recommend starting with? It’s…
Is this finally going to give me the option to download the entirety of the continental US like Here? Or are we still locked down to small areas that are approximately the size of the small 20k person city I live in?
Someone else suggested G Gundam and I think that might be it, I recognize the main character. Gotta download an episode or two to be sure.
Ooh! I think G Gundam might be it! The main character in that one looks familiar. I’ll probably have to download some episodes to be sure though.
Next question though, was G Gundam actually good, or did I just like it because I was like 8?
Maybe? Honestly I just googled that one specifically and none of the characters look familiar at all, but it has been a while too. I know it was dubbed and I am about 60% sure it was on Toonami. Maybe I’m misremembering and it was farther back than that.
I may just have to go download a couple episodes for each series…
Do you have a list of must watch anime that has been dubbed for fall 2015? I have a really hard time watching subbed anime.
Is it dubbed yet? I’ve tried to get into gundam a couple times and just haven’t liked it except once. There was one series I watched when I was probably between 10 and 12 (now 23) that I really liked, but for the heck of me I can’t remember which series it was.
