Most of the responses seem to be centered around what people were used to, as far as North American availability.   There were, and still are, many great small cars available abroad in Europe and Asia that never made (or will make) it here.   That’s the real shame.

The ‘deep state’ just came out from the shadows.  They’re the billionaires now running the country openly.

She has it backwards. You want slower traffic in the right lane, along with commercial vehicles, and faster traffic in the left lane. Pass left, slower traffic keep right. It’s simple.

1st Gear: Last sales report, the decrease in California Tesla sales amounted to a 10% overall global sales reduction. That’s big. Regarding Tesla wanting to move more operations to Texas. Remember when he moved Tesla’s R&D, only to move it back within months? He couldn’t get enough people to make that move, nor

Does it come with a stocked bar, cigars and a chauffeur?

Wheel bearing. Right now it’s on display as artwork on my desk. No rush, it’s only mildly noisy. Oh that DMM above looks like a Harbor Freight model. Sure, good enough for troubleshooting.

Resistance losses, lower material costs and the usual illogical Musk minimalism.

Short of a few models with gas tanks under the hood, none.

If you’re going to do a village/beach buggy, do what all the billionaires with their yachts have been doing since forever. They hoist Fiat Jollys on and off their ships for use around the French and Italian riviera.

It’ll hurt the imbred mouthbreathers first and foremost. Will they learn from their mistakes? Will they acknowledge the ‘we told you so’ of electing Trump and what goes for Republicans these days was a really bad idea? Likely not. Let them suffer.

I’m done.  I hope they suffer the most.  Screw them.  They did this to themselves.

That recession we’ve managed to stay ahead of for the past six or so years? It may be inevitable. Tariffs are a tax. They lead to reduced business activity (recession) and inflation. Just remember, Obama handed Trump a great economy. He destroyed it. Biden handed Trump once again a great economy. He will destroy it

Same here.  The EV is the commuter/chores vehicles.  Trips over 300 miles?  That’s once every two or three years.  Cheaper to rent, and not deal with costs of ownership over that period.

Things are going to go to shit quickly as the operations and running of the country get sold to the lowest bidder.

This is the way.

The one thing for people who’ve never been there, they can’t wrap their heads around the enormity of the city. Coming in for a landing at any of the various airports, you are over ‘city’ for 15, 20 minutes or more, at airplane speeds.  The greater metropolitan measured in some directions may be 90 or 100 miles end to

Shut up Nazi.

Let’s create a further glut, plunging the price down into the weeds, and once again (history shows us), tens of thousands of oil workers in North Dakota and Texas become unemployed again.

Economies of scale.  With most of the world going solidly EV, how long before OEMs of various components start to raise prices on ICE components, because of reduced sales and manufacturing numbers, to make it worthwhile for them?  As the scale tips, everything *ICE* will become more expensive.  Everything.

Plan better.  It’s good for you.
