Just another horrible rear suspension, the Renault R4's (see [bit.ly]).
Indeed, the Sentra is the Renault Megane and the Versa, the Renault Clio. The former is considered to be a family car in Europe and the latter, a city car. Yet, since both a Renaults, they are utter unreliable POS.
Acura would have the substance to back a high-tech theme, unlike Pontiac, but why does it have to be an ugly morass of straight lines? I actually hate how BMW's success led to other competitors to try to be like it. Mercedes used to be elegant and comfortable, now they seem to have taken an overdose of steroids and…
Filistine!
I agree that the TL is a very good car. I don't think that the rear is too bad either, but some details mar it, like the tailpipes and a somewhat massiveness that makes it look fat.
I wouldn't kick an RL out of my garage... at least not the one before it got the buckteeth.
4th: if the sight of a B-class is not enough of a reason to understand why this contraption is not sold stateside, another reason is the same as why BMW doesn't sell cars with its lowly NA I4: a premium brand tries to remain premium. Or else why wasn't the cargo van Sprinter called a Mercedes as in everywhere else or…
Indeed, from Austin to Dallas, I35 has merely two lanes most of the way. When half of the vehicles on the road are big rigs, the left lane is bound to be blocked by slow trucks passing slower ones for miles on end.
A brand with such heritage like Lancia could never survive in the same country as the too-big-to-fail, twice bailed -out company which owns the Italian government, Fiat. And if it hadn't been enough for Fiat to have dragged Lancia through the mud with tacky dressed up Fiats, it had to finish destroying it by reducing…
Exactly! The DoT has finally raised the limit along stretches of I35 by 5 or 10MPH, including approaching Austin and through downtown. However, I'm flabbergasted that there seem to be people who don't believe the new posted speed limit and drive at the old limit! And, no, people still mess up the split at 12th and…
That we'll be soon driving at 100MPH everywhere! Yeepee!
IMO, only a philistine would put a hitch on a Porsche. :-D
Yes, but the truck cabin is not rigidly attached to the chassis and while the chassis of a truck is designed and welded to tow a load under certain design limits (towing capacity), that of a 911 isn't. And a 911 has no chassis, so any stretching is on the unibody, whose welds were not designed for large horizontal…
