I don't follow this hoopla. Top Gear is an equal opportunity offender, so why take exception with Mexicans? For example, they said that the Italian makers would just lie about the CO2 emissions of their cars to be compliant with EU norms. They said rather demeaning things about Finns as well. So, really, why all…
Where I come from, 90% of the cars have manual transmission and almost all just use the parking brake. Even at my parent's home, where the grade is 20%.
You don't haggle you lose. I found this out by accident, when after 15min trying to bring the price of the car down was unsuccessful, I just stated that perhaps the car was too expensive for my budget, thanked the attention and walked out, just to be called back at the parking lot agreeing to my offer.
@gin-n-joose: Yes, the car looks from the same company and so does the dashboard. Try to ignore the shiny bits and you'll see too.
@tonyola: Only if 1/8" gaps are better than 3/16" gaps.
@Joseph Shaul: That's because it is. The average speed commuting in Europe is 11MPH, while in the US it's 37MPH. So, a 40ml-trip takes almost 4h in Europe and about 1h in the US. Yeah, 4h IS a long trip.
@mkim4x: Fact is that there's no place for lots of pictures of cup holders on a car review at a website for gearheads.
@wkiernan: I disrespectfully disagree. Is it ugly to the eyes or not? Screw its main function to be a kill-joy!
@wkiernan: I respectfully disagree. It is surprising how uglier they are in person. Their total lack of proportions becomes three times worse in three dimensions because they are missing in breadth, length and height.
