One of the few things I do feel smug about not eating meat is whenever there is a new announcement of horrible contamination or meat recalls. Sure you can get salmonella in produce but it's a lot less likely, especially if you don't buy pre-packaged salad and things like that.

As a fairly recent non-meat eater I never really did it for animal welfare but I gotta say I look at pigs very differently these days. Pretty sure I want one as a pet on my someday-farm and I don't think I could ever send it to slaughter, even if it lived a charmed piggy life up until then.

LOL yeah the average American meat eater is consuming tons of fresh fruits and vegetables I am sure. This all seems very correlation and not causation or whatever. If it wasn't so hard to eat in the majority of restaurants when you don't want to eat animal meat, vegetarians wouldn't have to be so well-read on what

Gotta admit, a "strawberry" frosted donut from The Dunks is a wonderful thing, artificial flavor and all.

My family was not "wealthy" but was certainly upper middle class and I was blessed to have my full tuition paid for by my parents. I came from a public school system that graduated 97% of students and sent most of them to college without much worry. I met SO MANY people in my first year of college that opened my eyes

That sounds like a great piece of advice!

"It does not matter whether the person has a ween or a vajeen."

I don't know if you had too much wine before posting last night or what but MAN try being appreciative of what you have maybe instead of shitting all over this woman in every reply on this article.

Hard to believe the lack of empathy around here. There but for the grace of whatever go all of us...

The eyes are creepy but I think it's the giant smile that really makes it horrifying for me!

Yeah and I guess this is what you learn to do in "Communications, Marketing & Anthropology".

Or you could use concrete examples of things you've actually accomplished in previous work, but that might just be old-fashioned I guess.

I guess for internships, fine, but I personally HATE this kind of "creative" application. Just hire normal people who are skilled for the job you need them to do.

"I'm so thankful that [my mother] took care of me," she told CBS. "There was no drugs in my system. I was left in a warm dry place," she said.

Lindy, thank you for including 'a horse' in your list of beautiful things. Horses are the best! (insert hearts 'n ponies doodle here)

I like that they went with facial tones/colors that appear more natural on her but something looks WEIRD about her face. The bronzer/blush? I don't know.

Wow, definitely a horror story about combining finances for sure. My husband had a decent amount of debt including some bad stuff his mom racked up. As a team we are working to bust it down and are doing a good job, but again, it's all about the honesty!

Yes! That's another huge thing, the ongoing trust. I can't blame people who have been cheated on for doubting their SO's faith but it must be a hard way to live :(

Write the ad! So much better to be the one getting responses (and on CL they are anonymous until you want to reach out - very important) than hoping you send the right response to a potentially popular ad. I have always been of a "get it, girl" attitude and attribute that trait to some of the more accomplished areas
