Did he say "fucking bitch" or something else? When I see ******* **** I'm thinking the C-word got dropped.

I always loved the scene when Ursula becomes human, so weird and creepy.
Sorry, I misread your comment that said "as female-centric as this one" then. It made truckloads of money because all gamers were interested in it, not just male gamers. As another commenter said though it's a AAA console game and the vast majority of studios aren't working on games of that scope. The few that are…
I love that your tweet preview code lets me follow directly from here because NOW I'M FOLLOWING MY CHILDHOOD HERO R.L. STINE.
Could it be that women are less vocal in gaming communities due to the longstanding scrutiny and exclusion they have experienced when attempting to do so? That doesn't mean they aren't there, bro.
From a girl who has played all the Starcraft games, all the Age of Empires games (currently work at a studio headed by one of the producers of several AoE games) and many other strategy titles you have assumed women don't play, I suggest you broaden your horizons and stop making stupid assumptions about what…
They are probably outdated now but there are several gun-themed Wii accessories including a rifle, a handgun and a shotgun that fit a Wiimote and can be used with any Wii game that uses the Wiimote. There are quite a few good on-the-rails shooters and FPS for Wii if you know where to look. Actually these peripherals…
I worked at a GameStop for a year with two female ASMs and our customers LOVED when it was only us chicks working. We were friendly and as-flirty-as-needed-by-retail-standards and our mostly male customers respected us and asked for recommendations and opinions. I also got a lot less shit from asshole dick customers…
Expendable income is king! I work for a game company and while 18 to 24 year olds are our expected target market we make WAY more $$ and better return on the 35+ crowd of both sexes.
It's funny to me that Skyrim appears as female-centric to you! I see it as balanced. There are NPCs of both genders at all points of power/hierarchy and your character design isn't hindered by wanting to play as a female character. Oblivion (Elder Scrolls IV) had a lot of the same appeal but wasn't as good a game…
The problem is games ARE directed at men almost exclusively. The pink-pony-babysitting-makeup games are not the right way to target women but that doesn't mean they are the only way to attempt to do so. I will say I played hundreds of hours of Skyrim as a badass lady Nord - I think that is one game I feel fits your…
I like the "good lez bad lez" theory.
This was a very effective viral video around the time of the launch :) The girl's boyfriend was an ad guy or something.
Grab on, jump up, on this sattle
I find Sims 3 to be one of the best multipurpose games out there. I feel the same way about Minecraft. I can play for the action/character progress, or I can dramatically shift gears and just design stuff for fun (hooray for money cheats, though in Minecraft I always mine all my resources for building projects).
F those people. I work in games, have gamed all my life, own all the consoles and still return to Sims regularly and buy all the EPs they release. Currently more addicted to SimCity but eagerly awaiting Island Paradise and more info about Sims 4 :)
I knew my husband had bought a ring so one day I was like "...want to go out to dinner, hint hint?" and we went to one of our favorite local places, had a lovely extravagant dinner, then he did the whole down-on-one-knee thing and we got applause from the other diners :D the restaurant also brought us a bottle of…
Every morning I dunk my head entirely under water, then flip it back up in a fast motion so that it becomes George Washington Hair. I then spray it with ultra-hold spray and head out for the day. What does that say about me?
I try to revisit it every once in awhile and it's so dry and boring! James and Donna are just the worst. I loved it so much the first time through but can barely get past the first episode on rewatching.
I mean, it's not like the author is saying "if you're awesome at flipping burgers you should just be glad you're getting paid". He's talking about working in the video game industry. I personally do feel thankful that I get to work doing what I do, and recognize that I could probably make more and have more…
