Oh this gives me a tremendous sad. He was such a genuinely nice man. He had a lot of time to spend with younger kids learning golf & he was incredibly nice to an awkward teenager who flirted with golf and was his standard bearer for many a TPC Masters event.

No, what it comes down to is Youtube is giving moderation power to a bunch of people who are most likely of the mindset of “if I dont’like it, then it needs to go away”. And YT is then rewarding people for that behavior.

Yeah that’s not really the concerning part. I feel like you’re intentionally misreading what a very obvious criticism is, which is that mob rule squelching minority opinions doesn’t exactly create the sort of environment Youtube may want to create.
