I’m with you completely on that, and I’m trying to avoid the “people on phones” part of this argument. I just know that I’m hearing more about these types of incidents in the, relatively, recent past, than I did when I was younger and going to games. Do the non-Ash bats give a different read/action for line drives? Do you think it could contribute to affecting your reaction speed?

Can any of this be attributed to the move from Ash bats to various other types of wood? I don’t know enough about exit velocities off of non-Ash bats to know how much of a contribution its making. In addition, relating to exit velocities, what’s the possibility of corked bats?

My only real counter to this is, if the federal government can bail out Big Auto, and Big Banking, with money accrued through taxation; then surely there should be some sort of recourse for its constituency.
