Do the non-Ash bats give a different read/action for line drives? Do you think it could contribute to affecting your reaction speed?

Can any of this be attributed to the move from Ash bats to various other types of wood? I don’t know enough about exit velocities off of non-Ash bats to know how much of a contribution its making. In addition, relating to exit velocities, what’s the possibility of corked bats?

My biggest gripe with VAR and replay as a whole is usage of slow motion. If the call cannot be disputed, using the video technology, at the speed that the action took place at; it shouldn’t be overturned.
