@Mit: It's not the "motion controls" so much as the superior aiming offered by the Wiimote (and, supposedly, the Sony wand thingamajig). Wiimote aiming > mouse > analog.

@Black-Dog-Howls: The Wii has substantially outsold the PS2 as of the three-year mark in each console's life. If the PS2 could go from ~45 million to 100 million in years four and five, it's not unbelievable that the Wii will go from ~56 million to 100+ million in that same period of time. #ds

this is a serious issue. Players are quitting the game without striving to explore everything.

@Mit: Had there been a larger screen iPhone when I bought my regular-sized-screen iPhone, I definitely would have gone with the larger screen, DPI be damned.

@tk.: For the game itself, it doesn't matter what version you get. You can download the Enhanced Edition and uncensored patches from CDProject's The Witcher website.

@Reactant: "Those" processes take up 0% CPU resources and in sum, less than 0.1% of a typical machine's RAM until you're actively using them. Most are disabled by default: Windows Media Player, etc., isn't running until you actually open up the WMP program.

@AncientUnknown1: Microsoft isn't going to charge less for a version of Windows without [e.g.] Notepad, Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, or Paint.

It would be fantastic if the game would automatically set AI parameters based on the orders you give the characters (when playing in the second ["MMO"/micromanagement] and third ["Kingdom Hearts"] styles).

@AncientUnknown1: What does a "bare-bones 'just for gaming'" edition mean? Should it be crippled not be able to run anything except games (from a whitelist)? Should there be a limit on the number of simultaneous programs you can run?

Does this update make the in-game dash any faster? I've given in and disabled messaging pop-ups because I know that opening message up and replying will take far, far too long (when playing online). #dashboardupdate

@pandafresh: SotN and CotM were the only Metroidvanias worth a damn. The Rondo remake, on the other hand, was fantastic.

@madog: The CSM is a long-running and well-respected newspaper. It's not some sort of Christianity-today-faith-news-and-events blog.

@Ronin_Okami: Who said this had anything to do with religion?

@drag: Citizen Kane is considered an exceptionally innovative and artistic work that pioneered film-making concepts in a fashion that forced the industry to leap forward technologically, but rarely have I heard it referred to as "the peak of cinema."

@gold163 (° д° ): I just bought the PC version of Left 4 Dead. I should have just held out for the cheaper 360 version, even though the PC game looks better (and can be modded) — configuring it to use the right controller is near impossible (yes, blasphemy, I dislike mouse+keyboard).
