@Antiterra: I disagree on the validity of Tosticus' analogy, but good post.

@alaren: Well said, alaren.
@Heliophage: But isn't that pretty much what happened here?
@boringjob2: It's in the media's interests to make the fringe groups look like the majority.
@Bunta: It's not censorship — it's a business decision that Sony chose to make based on perceived consumer backlash.
That's not "forward compatible." But who cares what words mean, anyway?
@rupinderpaul: If it's Resistance-only, than I've got no interest in this. If, on the other hand, I can play the PSP remake of Dracula X with a DualShock 3, then I might just pick up Resistance 2 (when it drops in price).
@Grave: Whoa. KoF XII has a home release date, and one before Fall 2009? The arcade version isn't going to be out until April 2009.
@stryker1800: If you don't want to play a story, this is not the game for you. The whole game is "story".
@MJDeviant: Metroid Prime was just about the only FPS where jumping felt solid. I doubt this is going to work for me.
@Dr.Fondler: The point of the game? To have fun, I suppose, like most other games. As to the story, who cares?
@AJMarra: Memorize the level? It worked for Megaman 9. ;)
Didn't Kotaku run a story on DS owner demographics just a couple days ago?
@Derangel: Pshaw. Only 60 times? ;)
@Kevin856: If "biased to the left" meant "not batshit insane out-and-out liars", then you might have a point.
@MASOCHIST187: It's the developers' job to implement a solid targetting system, not the players'.
@phantomlink: Now you get screwed over worse by not having the option to create multiple save files!
@Laho: I didn't much care for Erikson's work, finding it too, uh, "anime"-ish (particularly the evil characters). Erikson's mentor, Glen Cook, did a much better job with the Black Company (the first series (Annals), at least).
