Rhys Ifans is….
ALISTAIR SMYTHE!

I love a sequel to Chrono Trigger. Chrono Cross was very mediocre. They crammed in way too many characters and the story hung by a thread.

"Punk Rock Girl" by The Dead Milkmen references "California Dreamin'" by The Beach Boys.

The Albuquerque Isotopes became the Isotopes in 2003 when the Calgary Cannons moved there. They named themselves the Isotopes in reference to the Simpsons episode where the 'Topes were going to move to Albuquerque and Homer went on a hunger strike to protest the move.

VI was awesome. I used to think VII was my favorite, but now I think VI was superior. It gets goddamn BLEAK at some points.

Yeah, he mentions a lot of weird turn-of-the-century people who I've never heard of, such as the majority of the ringers he wanted on his softball team.

Let's go over the ground rules:

What's going to be scary is in 50 years and The Simpsons is still on, and Mr. Burns starts talking about obscure guys like Dan Quayle.

The one where Lisa Kudrow is the new, cool girl in school is a lame episode overall, but it did bring us Homer's turn as a grease reseller, which provided nearly as many laughs as the sugar baron.

Beyond Good and Evil was kickass.

Rock Band 3 is totally the way to go, but I dunno if I'll buy it. The whole "music party game" genre has petered out amongst my friends, and they just aren't nearly as fun alone.

Yeah, I stopped playing Brutal Legend when I got to the RTS potions. They were a slog.

Did they even mention Scioscia's tragic illness?

Who will play The Ramones? And who will play The Beatles? They should get the same 4 guys to play both bands.

The first half is pretty good, but the second half is very Star Wars Kid.

The other AV Club league only has one undefeated team left, The Situations, led by Holland Oates.

Mac's duster is so great. It's bad ass.

Yeah, "jabroni" has been around for a long time. I'd guess that it goes back to the early carnival days of wrestling. It's just that it was more used by insiders, until recently. The Rock really helped it explode, since he used it about 20 times in every interview.

Charlyne Yi died on the way back to her home planet.
