Without researching or thinking about it, I'm going to say "Pier Pressure" is my favorite. But there are so many great ones.

I dunno, 2010 Britney Spears is a woman who I do not find attractive.

"…fell out of his wheelchair and struck his head." I didn't even know he was in a wheelchair.

Did he compete in the Independent Nations Games?

This news is perfect for a Warrissey appearance. Shame on you, gimmick commenter!

OPRAH: THE FINAL SEASON
So is Oprah Jacob in all this? Does that make Dr. Phil Smokey? Who is Stedman?

Her giant Cox.

Burt Reynolds actually was on "Earl" before Norm, as Chubby. The next season, they cast Norm as Chubby's son. I think that makes it funnier. Casing Norm-as-Burt as a guy, then Burt himself as the guy's father is pretty obvious. But casting Burt as a guy, then Norm-as-Burt as the guy's son is pretty clever.

It's also awesome because its been playing a ton of great old blues. Like Lightnin' Hopkins and Lead Belly.

I had a similar experience with Oily Night. One of those "what the FUCK am I listening to and why do I have this song!" moments. It makes me feel like I'm going to be knifed by a gang, a whole gang, of madmen.

Inspired by this article, I made a Tom Waits Pandora station for my drive home last night. Tom Waits and the Kronos Quartet playing "Way Down in the Hole" came up. Completely awesome.

That was one of my favorite Fisher King scenes as a kid, long before I knew who Tom Waits was.

There's no wrong place to go with Tom Waits. There's an album for every mood.

Next time, I'll call Robert Ludlum!

You ain't the first, lots of others came before you, True Pud.

Guy: Waits has plenty of weird songs, but he has plenty of beautiful ones, too. "Anywhere I Lay My Head" and "Downtown Train" aren't all that odd, but they thrive on Rain Dogs.

Is this where we get to talk about how great Clint Howard was as the Smog Strangler? I know that it's not until "The Trip," but I can't wait that long!

I let out a little squee of delight when he popped up in The Book of Eli.

Holy crap. I never heard that before. They should use that in The Hobbit when they're in the Mirkwood or something.
