Yeah, I think Ricky Jay has an endless well of stories. Fascinating guy.

Everybody wants money! That's why they call it money!

My White Stripes ranking:

Let us celebrate our agreement with the adding of chocolate to milk.

Holy shit, when I was a freshman in college, thinking that maybe I'd be able to make movies for a living, I dreamed of doing a Campbell/Walken vehicle.

Definitely "cautiously optimistic" on Bubba Nosferatu. I wish it were Bruce, but I'm looking forward to Perlman as Elvis and Paul Giamatti as Col. Tom Parker. Could very well be a hoot, though I don't think it'll be nearly as great as Bubba Ho-Tep (which really is truly great.)

And Feed the Animals has a few moments that rival Elton and Biggie. "Roc Boys" over "Paranoid Android," "International Players Anthem" over both "Gimme Some Lovin" and "Faithfully," "Lip Gloss" and "Master of Puppets," far stronger album.

Yeah, I think I read the first 5 books, and I was ready for it all to be done. It was an interesting story, but it got way too bogged down with sideplots.

Sure, I coulda stayed in the past. Could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

Both endings are good. The Apocalypse ending might be "better," but that showdown at S-Mart is just too much goddamn fun.

I love all three, but I came to Army of Darkness first, and it reigned as my favorite movie through high school. So it's the best of the bunch to me.

Dammit, Metal Box
I'm gonna have to check out some metal when I get home, now.

Too bad it wasn't Smokey and the Bandit-era Sally Field.

They were mashed up in a classic MadTV sketch called "Gump Fiction."

Yeah, I don't understand the hate people have for this. Okay, it didn't deserve Best Picture that year. And it's not a great movie. But it's a very enjoyable one. And if it's on TV, I'll usually sit and watch it for a bit.

You know what a great fucking episode is? Exodus, Part 2. Final Cut is kind of weak.

Sunny is a huge omission. Drop Tim & Eric, which is no good, and add the non-stop hilarity of Sunny.

I think that's an important part to Paul's character. He presents himself as an urbane, sophisticated type, but he's really just a kid from Jersey.

Well, Ken has a haircut. That's gotta count for something.
