The Best Picture nominees that year were "The Departed," "Babel," Letters from Iwo Jima," "Little Miss Sunshine," and "The Queen."

Children of Men is super good. It's probably my favorite movie of the last few years. And I have it on HD-DVD! I'm just glad I have something to watch on my obsolete HD-DVD player.

HA! At Alan Sepinwall
Who has the second best BB recap next to Donna. His headline? "There's no real way to dust for vomit."

Wait, did White Heat take place in the 70s? And was James Cagney on a spaceship?

Maybe he doesn't need a moll though, but a ma. Then he can be on top of the world.

Before the last season of Mad Men started, Comcast added AMC HD for us. It's awesome.

Not at all. He's Walter White now, and that shall be the role he is remembered for.

I've put my parents through some rough shit, but I'm glad that drugs was never one of them. It just seems like a nearly-impossible hole to crawl out of.

Yeah. I'm so glad I get AMC in HD now, because it is so cinematic. It looks gorgeous.

No. I think she would have shot up anyway. She's a junkie, and there was no way that she'd just get rid of all that horse.

He's done. That's the point of no return. She was, for the most part, an innocent. No claim can be made for Walter to be a good person anymore. He's evil.

I liked the idea of finding the big bag of money down by the train tracks. Walt should have run with that.

Man, heroin is a bitch. Not even Q can do anything about it.

Yeah. I don't think anything comes close. Not even Mad Men. Breaking Bad never fails to get some sort of deep reaction out of me.

Anything from Zoidberg is gold.

The Blues Brothers is a fave of mine. Especially the Orange Whip line.

"No Raisin" is a favorite of mine. I use it all the time.

Or

Also, Clerks The Animated Series
Kevin Smith leaves something to be desired. But I loved the cartoon. Especially the second episode, the clip show. Nearly pure brilliance. And the last episode was a pastiche (homage?) of my favorite cartoon of all time, "Duck Amuck."

Am I gonna be the first John Carpenter dropper?
On fuckin' page 8? Fine. Feel free to drop in with any of them, but Big Trouble In Little China was always my favorite.
