Exactly. It takes a lot less time to give albums multiple listens, and you can do other things as it plays.

Joy Division took more than a few listens for me. I didn't connect with it as quickly as I did New Order.

Hey, I'm a Hold Steady fan and I'm nothing like that.

The Office did beat out 30 Rock this year. That's not to say that 30 Rock hasn't been good this season. The Office has just been firing on all cylinders.

It is a great movie. Urbaniak is a great fuckin' actor is what he is. I'm always happy to see him pop up places. He's always so delightfully creepy.

Hey, Craigers is back!

It was a B+ episode, until the song. I'm a sucker for a benefit song parody (such as We're Sending Our Love Down the Well), so this was bumped to A territory for me.

I listened to about half of it before leaving work
And I was pleasantly surprised. "Know Your Enemy" did nothing for me when I heard it. But the album's pretty freakin' good.

Yeah, as much as I like Wes Anderson, I think those movies should be left to him. Brick was a very cool idea by Rian Johnson, and I was hoping he'd end up being a new cool director. But aping another guy's style isn't what I wanted.

I still really want to see this
Brick was super. And this looks right up my alley. For some reason, I really like Mark Ruffalo, too.

Fargo is the perfect North Dakota movie.

Ah, yes, The Pope Must Die. That's the one. Terrible movie.

Whose brilliant idea was it to have The Big Lebowski NCC the same day as the Lost finale TV Club? The AV Club servers are going to be brought to their knees.

Mind if I do a J?

I haven't had a White Russian in so long, and I love 'em. Though I prefer them with milk. Half & half makes them way too thick, and I can only have a couple.

Yep, I also discovered it sophomore year of high school (maybe junior year).

Quick Change is really good. Not perfect though. The perfect movie is Rear Window.

Any other great bowling movies? Kingpin, Big Lebowski, I can't think of any others off the top of my head. And Kingpin is stupendous, just not on the level of Lebowski. Though, when they came out, I probably gravitated to Kingpin too. I was a teenager, so the Bros. Farrelly appealed to me more than the Bros. Coen.

Yeah but, Turturro was also one of the worst things about Transformers. And Transformers was pretty terrible.

Saying that Jeff Bridges is the best living actor is a very bold statement, but I can't disagree with it too much. He's gold in nearly everything he's in. The guy can play any time of role.
