I can’t help but feel this is the dumbest story I’ve read about all week.

My impression is more that many of them are using “betrayal” or similar terms because they feel the creators owed them something, which is a concept I refuse to entertain. Beyond that, the term implies a much more emotional reaction than could ever possibly be warranted. This isn’t O’Malley pretending to be their bff…
Update: LOL they announced that it is a $10 upgrade. Not bad actually.
This is genuinely pathetic. The Part One remaster was barely justifiable so soon after the release of the PS4 remaster, but at least that was actually updating it for a new platform. Part Two is already one of the best looking games on the PS5; asking people to pay another $70 (because you fucking know it’s not gonna…
A series with 2 entries and 3 remasters
Scott Pilgrim is essentially the comics version of 500 days of Summer. People like it and relate to it for the wrong reasons without understanding the core of the story is that Scott is shitty.
Ugh, it’s almost like you don’t have to read the articles.
Actually these are quite helpful for getting started. You dont have to read them, just move along.
Not to mention that with holiday sales hitting you are gonna be able to score it for less then full price
Who could have possibly seen this coming!? Expanding at an unprecedented rate has never gone poorly ever, especially when you don’t even have the funds in hand to do so. I’m shocked, shocked I tell you!
I think saying Twitter was forced to sell is a little bit of a misnomer. Elon overpaid like crazy and I think the shareholders were too in shock by his sheer stupidity and wanted to grab the cash before the banks realized what a colossal mistake they were making by giving that moron a blank check. Thus the perfect…
I’d be interested in seeing how those wages match up with the cost of living over in Japan. Hm.
This sounds like a stilted, limited regash of the wedding game in Persona Q, where every party member was an option. Throughout the Date Cafe chapter you’d get asked questions and would be presented with an “ideal” partner at the end, which could be ANY party member among the game’s combination of P3 and P4 heroes.…
Meanwhile I sit back here crying in female because my options are “play as a dude”, which I am not, nor do I identify as one.
The word “phobia” actually refers to strong irrational fear and/or aversion. You can have a phobia without necessarily being afraid. “Irrational” is the most important word there.
phobia as in aversion too. Not necessarily afraid of. Hydrophobic material isn’t afraid of water.
It’s not “Joker can’t be gay” that made the game homophobic, it was all the homophobia that made it (and the couple previous entries) homophobic.
Phobia is not just “fear” in the traditional sense. Phobias are extreme and irrational aversions to something that are disproportionate to any actual threat the thing in question could pose.
I devoured Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden last winter and found them to be both remarkable, intelligent, compelling games with so much to say- but yeah, as a gay man, I was also let down by how they seemed to draw a line at queerness. Persona 4 is a bit more forgivable- it came out in 2008, after all, and I…
Glad to see this coming about. Now, I”m saying this as a first generation Japanese-American immigrant, who came to America as a young age but goes to Japan for work fairly regularly.
