I listen to his podcast with Donald Faison- obviously this is a micro look into him as a person, but considering how much of his personal life he shares, I would say he has definitely grown out of that violent phase he had around the early 2000s. Definitely has a hippie streak now, very mellow and big on therapy,

Honestly it feels almost like sacrilege for me to say this (I’ve been nothing but Sony since 1996) but Xbox is KILLING it. I’m waiting for a slim too, but till then I’ve also been more than happy borrowing my partners Xbox to play so much new stuff.

Ehh, speaking as someone who babysat many a child who asked to watch the entire trilogy over and over (and over...and OVER) again, they’re not bad at all. It should be noted they’re more aimed at children/young tweens than teens, so I wouldn’t compare it to stuff like Breakfast Club. With that in mind, it’s pretty enjo

This is what’s boggling me. I am a cis woman. I don’t feel magically erased when people say that abortion is essential health care for “people who can give birth”. This is what intersectionality is all about- I am having my rights stripped away as a woman with a uterus. Next to me, a trans man is fighting for his

People keep asking who wanted this... and I feel like I have to shyly put up my hand like that teacher who felt personally victimized by Regina George lol

Ha, I always wondered where people were logging their watched movies. Despite having moved to the US, I still log everything on filmow, which caters to a Brazilian userbase. It’s similar to goodreads in having a very cluky UX, but I’ve gotten really used to it by now lol.

Hell yes, emphasis on the hell.

Yup, this alone sold me on P3P being my favorite version of the game. I know the visual novel style has a little less heart (especially sans The Answer). But even as far as Silent Protagonists go, Fem!MC was so much fun to play as! I remember some of her answer options being a riot.

Agreed, but it’s at times like this that I wish they’d just bring back more of the “AA” games that were a bit more popular during the PS2 era. Those projects made with a smaller surplus budget that didn’t need to make ALL the money and could afford to be a little weirder, but with that Big Studio polish. I swear my

Likewise- there was a time where ironically, indie games had a samey-ness to them that really burnt me out. If I had to see another 16-bit platformer about depression again I was going to defenestrate. In fact only now am I finally giving them a chance again, but I’ve been extremely picky (I’ve really enjoyed Chicory,

Omg thank you! The people I’ve been talking to about it made me feel like I was imagining it. Like sure, the show about interdimensional eldritch horrors eating people was always going to have some violence in it, but I was very turned off by the drawn out torture scenes this season. I kept closing my eyes way more

I was thinking about this a lot, especially since I came across an interview of Grimes; she’s looking at a photo where’s she’s kissing a woman and talks about how she got media backlash for it from a blog. Except she describes it as “this photo got me cancelled because this was the pre-woke era”. I thought that was a

this this this this!! I kept being recommended Stardew Valley because of my love for Animal Crossing, but I found it difficult and stressful; if there could simply be no time limits, I’d snatch this up in a heartbeat!

Same here! I got the bulk of my collection pre 2020, so nothing was truly in arm-and-leg prices.

I came to the US from Brazil and I do care that it’s a privlidged position. It helps me not condescend to my friends and family back home whenever they tell me the latest bs the government is up to- I’m not simply going to shrug and say “just move, I did :) I worked super hard and got to where I am now, if I can do it

This was getting at me too! It’s Disney for god’s sake, couldn’t they add even a little bit more oomph to the player character that didn’t scream Merge Mansion for iphone?

Am a Disney adult that got bombarded by links to this as soon as it was announced, as it seemed super up my alley. I was ready to go wild until I read the f2p aspect. Pass.

Kotaku do you have ears everywhere? Just on a completely random whim I decided to rev up my 3DS yesterday (despite LIVING on my switch) to replay persona Q. I was just thinking about adding a few more titles in there before the shop closes, and then this pops up. Thank you for the heads up!

It’s because of those successes that I’m dying for a Rule of Rose remake- that game should’ve gotten a fair chance. Unfortunately it played like complete butt, but everything else about it was so intriguing and well-executed. What wouldn’t I give to see it with shiny graphics and actual playability!

This! I used to be confused as well, but after seeing them read in that context, it made so much more sense to me.
