RIP Rutger...one of my faves was Blind Fury

I know everyone’ll be quoting Blade Runner, but, for me, he’ll always be Navarre from Ladyhawke.  And yes, I’ll admit, he was one of the first guys I had a crush on in a film.  Such a damned brilliant actor.  

Ladyhawke will always be my favorite. It helped form my love of Fantasy.

Didn’t he get the memo?

Just here to mention that if you haven’t seen him in The Hitcher, do yourself a favor and rectify that post-haste.

My first Rutger Hauer movie was “Wanted: Dead or Alive” , back in the days when you could rent a VCR and a couple of movies from the convenience store. It was a double bill with “Iron Eagle”. (Dad picked them....) I enjoyed his performance in that.

A true loss to the Sci-Fi community as he really could make any project he was in better whether it be haunting (Blade Runner), hilarious (those Guinness commercials), hell even shitball scary (The Hitcher).

If you ever get a chance, try and find The Blood of Heroes....a low budget Sci-Fi that was surprisingly fun…

Both my partner and I are on the design end of marketing teams. The amount of absolutely shitty ideas that are thrown out are mind boggling (one of our companies that has nothing to do with the firearms industry suggested giving out branded BUMP STOCKS not 3 months after the Vegas shooting... at a convention IN VEGAS).

I think if this had happened to me when I was in my teens or early twenties, I would have cried, if it had happened while I was recovering from my eating disorder, I would have relapsed, now, I would say Forever 21 can take their poorly made clothes, fuck off, and die.
