it’s not so hard to do good lighting if you know how it works, but doing it right is always going to cost money. Of course, the problem with basements used to be low ceilings, making it difficult to put up spots and directional lights. Now that we have much smaller and powerful LED lights things are easier.

Well as I said earlier, I had a similar medical problem and because I live in Belgium, I’m alive and well after a hysterectomy for which I paid about 300 dollars. My heart bleeds for poor Susan because I know part of what she went trough.

Goddammit that makes me angry. I’ve had a similar problem- severe bleeding because of uterine fibroids. It was horrific, and I put off the operation not because of costs, but because I was scared of it. In the end there was no way out. The hysterectomy went well and I brought my leftover depends to a second hand store.

Having recently had a major operation here in Belgium, I thanked heavens on my bare knees when I saw the bill. We complain too much about what we have. No health care system is perfect, but what we have is pretty damn good.
