I’m not naive enough to believe that this will actually be taken to court and there will be actual consequences. But I still think a well functioning court system is the best hope humankind has in situations like this and violence is not.

Killing is never the answer. Taking them to court is.

I don’t know if you read my post, but I’m a Dutch national hailing from Belgium. Not saying nobody ever got killed here for disagreeing, but we don’t usually make a habit out of it. There is no reason for the aggressive tone.

I can see what she is trying to do, but it’s awkward, and just very easy for right wing publications to make a big fuss out of. It’s well intended but it has sure backfired. You should see the headline that the Dutch right-wing news site geenstijl.nl ran with this story.
