You’re in luck! Waterville is an old mill town, and is quite picturesque. There’s plenty of that author’s work that could have taken place there.

I daily an ‘05 sedan with a 5 speed. It is very much a very Meh car, and other than the trunk liking to leak (which works great for the battery location and electronics) it’s been a very solid little car.
I have done this in my idiocy, creates some wacky wiper movements.
I do it because it’s a good habit, especially in the extreme cold. Now my Saturn doesn’t sit there for 20 minutes, but I’ll let my car run for 2-3 minutes to get the fluids circulating well and oil warmed up. Keep in mind I’m INSIDE my car when doing this.
Now are trunk snowmen still allowed? No joke, first snow in the Carolinas last month I had seen an Accord running around downtown Statesville with a 3-foot snowman resting on the trunk.
Godspeed David, Godspeed. I honestly think this one’s your best SJ yet, and I definitely agree that this one should be the tow rig in the fleet.
I can’t wait to see a Jason Drives video on it. 5-10 minutes of Torch pointing out all the cool little tidbits and doodads and weirdness is just an enjoyable watch for me.
From what I understand, the what helps that track is its close proximity to Hollywood. From what I was told, it’s location makes it an easy place to rent and film at for TV shows and movies. So for my understanding the track is making money as a place to film at as well, which has made it hard to straight up kill all…
Ha! Fools you! I could care less about my Saturn!
Just goes to show you can’t run a street race everywhere you want. Look how many have failed in IndyCar. They all expect Long Beach and Toronto type shows and crowds, and honestly most fail within a few years (if they make it fruition at all).
Dude, the Cherokee is awesome. Looks to be in MUCH better shape than mine. I’m jelly.
Required 2 trips, which was one of the reasons for the great-Sawzall blade-off.
Hate tailgaters with a passion, especially at night. Having high-beams from your Escalade or truck at perfect eye rear window-level of my small car wreaks havoc on my eyesight (being someone night-blind). That and when I’m pulling a trailer and leaving room for me to stop and people think that’s plenty of room room…
Very disappointed my cramming half a Firebird in the back of a ‘93 S-10 didn’t make the cut. :(
So.... what happened to the liability insurance the track had for this exact situation? Just curious, but these lawsuits just scream “ambulance chaser” lawyer influence.
Another thing to remember is to wash firesuit in cold water and to dry on a rack. Have found this tends to increase the lifetime of these suits.
Briefly in college I had a Mk. 3 VW Jetta I referred to as the “Deathtrap” for a various amount of issues that came up with it (most notable being told it had bad control arm bushings but alright to drive from Maine to Ohio, got to Ohio just to find it was missing a control arm bolt entirely). Well the thing…
That’s the whole joke of it. No one expects a General Lee representation on a Justy.
Because for some reason I couldn’t upload in the original post
Stuck half a Firebird in the back of a ‘93 Chevy S-10. My brother and I lived together in college, and had blew up his Fiero. Turns out the 3.4l V6 is almost a direct swap for the old 2.8, so he found a wrecked on one Craigslist and drug it home. Turns out the kid wrecked it right before he got deployed, and was…
