I learned how to drive in an LTD wagon. It was a POS. I would not spend one dime on one.

You realize that’s like a 33-year-old ex-police cruiser, right?
I might tell myself that too, but in reality I know it’d sit in the back of the driveway, next to the garage and out of the productive flow of cars, where it would gradually accumulate more and more stuff on top of it, possibly a family of raccoons or possums inside, and eventually it would just fade away to nothing.
I’ve gotta CP this one, you don’t even get the enjoyment of being mistaken for a cop or a meth-addict, that would come with a Panther body P71. Plus, I’ll wager there are more, better cheap bolt on parts for the later edition cop car. Hell, I believe the car itself would be cheaper, and I think you’ve already done…
That’s not a rag. That’s a dust cozy for the printer. Do you not know how serious this situation is? That printer will be VERY dusty. Big problems.
This gif should now show up as a daily default on all the gawker sites.
But you want that extra 2 hp on your dyno run. Totally worth it.
I did a similar when I decided to build a turbo system for my Miata. I diligently followed advice from forums such as Miata.net for a moderately powerful build on a 1.6 Miata. After a few months of hunting and picking for parts I got lucky and score an aluminum OEM intercooler from a SAAB. Picked it up from a a guy…
Steers like a cow.
Pretty sure the reason you don’t see any of these late 70's Dodges on the road is because of the reasons you stated. A “roach” it’s not. A miracle it avoided the crusher is more like it. 62k miles on this car is like 162k and any half decent car made in the last 20 years.
With Hazard County livery, no doubt. I always wanted to drive Roscoe’s car.
I wouldn’t call it a roach since you don’t see many of them now. A lot of people that remember seeing them crawling around in the 80s and early 90s will have that memory, though.
100% bullshit.
Sounds is useless and the cop is closing on traffic at 80 MPH.
80 miles per hour....think about that. Even if you were looking straight into the rearview mirror you have at most 5 seconds to see the car coming.
In fact the WORST thing a driver could do is react to the car closing on him
At speed like that…
My S10 definitely does not get it’s best gas mileage at 93mph. It gets slightly better at 94mph, but it’s probably not good to keep hitting the limiter. The sound the terribly annoying too.
Yeah, coworker tried that about 10 years back on liter bikes. They shut the highway down on them.
Motorola got some legs on her.
i dont believe you. and neither does physics
Don’t pretend like cop training prepares you to out race a Hellcat in a shitty PPV.
Yep, that was my first introduction to the cost of Audi maintenance. Car was towed to a dealer (about the only place I could get the right fluid at the time) and refilled at some cost. On the interesting side, what I drained was not the right color for Audi ATF, particularly as the car was only 4k miles out of it’s…
That goes into another lesson of wrenching. Always unbolt the fill plug BEFORE unbolting the drain plug.
I always cut the timing belts to get them off.
