I’ll tell you where I am, they will not accept “it wasn’t me.” In the letter, it basically states, “It’s your responsibility as the registered owner of the vehicle. If it was stolen, then give us the jurisdiction and the police report number so we can verify. If you loaned it to someone, produce them and we’ll make

It wasn’t a car. It died in a bottle of Bushmill’s.

The only person that could potentially want it and afford the asking price is Suge. If he wanted it, he’d have it by now. But he wouldn’t pay that much for it.

Never heard Marilyn called an Appaloosa before, but I’ll go with it.

And note - that’s TWO of them for $2500. Running parts car tossed in for free. That being said, the one for sale is originally a PA car. Have to wonder what the “little spots of rust” entail.

The CLA is MUCH smaller. The CLA is built on the C Class chassis. Both this and the CLS are built on the E Class Chassis.

If it’s like the CLS, head room is fine. Footwell room, on the other hand...

You have to get into the head of a buyer. Someone buys this because no NON-AMG version exists. By definition, if you drive this, there’s no lesser model rolling around that it could be confused for. By initial accounts, this is a CLS underneath the skin. It’s basically an appearance upgrade to the CLS so pedestrians

This time in 2025, I’ll be looking....

They’re going after the market for which a CLS isn’t CLS-y enough. Plus the dilution of the AMG brand. At least there isn’t a non-AMG version of this one.

Merc is particularly egregious about calling things coupes when they are clearly not. Insert the freaking GLC. A coupe should be based on the sedan version of the same car. They do make a coups from the C/E/S Sedans, but they call a bunch more a coupe when it’s not. CLA/CLS/GLC/GLE fall into this. Merc just seems to

For when the CLS isn’t CLS-y enough.

As I read it, I wouldn’t be sure this guy did the motor swap. He would have said so if he had. He just states that it has the diesel and all the stuff he did to that diesel. I’d bet he fixed a prior motor swap (as evidenced by machining the head, replacing every accessory/gasket, and putting in electric fans). Threw

I don’t believe those were factory.

Maybe in another venue. Not here.

I think not. At best they look cast. At worst, stamped steel.

Eh- he won’t listen to you for the next 10 years anyway until he has the moment of “So THAT’S what Dad was telling me about.”

No way The Man In Black would have had anything to do with it. However, it is reminiscent of his song, “One Piece At A Time.”

The difference between an overvalued jacked up fender roll CP and an acceptable NP is..... tinted tail lights? I may have seen it all now.

Everyone else on that has even half a clue about buying/selling a car would take wired funds and agree to meet the auto hauler who will pick it up for the buyer. But then again, anyone that would buy this probably believes that concert rider of conditions is acceptable to have it delivered to him/her.
