Peter joining would be the worst possible decision

Was thinking the same thing.

Always, with with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

Oh that is freaking beautiful genius.

If game sales had stayed static to the 90s- this would be true.

Further proof that the world had too much idle time on its hands during quarantine ;-)

Except, sales per game have skyrocketed, as have average game profits. Average AAA video game is making a killing compared to movie profit margins.

Average pay hasn’t gone up a commensurate amount. So while $60 doesn’t go as far as it used to, I’m happy that its remained the standard price point.

Awesome :-)

Holy wow!!! So freaking excited! Very hopeful that EA manages to not screw the potential up

That sounds intriguing!! How'd the biscuits turn out?

So... You're here, why....?

The way they could salvage it - at least partially- would to be to add a cash prize or item,  and change the stipulations of the contest so that they agree that any future use of submitted entries that were not chosen, would result in equitable prizes going to those entries.

Sounds like a good game to sink my teeth into for the weekend.

Well said

While I think the pay disparity issues are serious issues, I also think that managers (at least good managers) serve important roles in larger scale environments.

Unfortunately, the average persons paycheck hasn’t inflated proportionately.

You apparently havent looked at brick and mortar sales vs online physical copy sales. Most physical copies are purchased online. Lack of brick and mortar sales in the event of no brick and mortar sales available would likely be a rounding error.

The vast majority of physical copies are also ordered online. Physical brick and mortar sales have been dwindling and have been a small minority percentage of game sales for a while.

Dude. Chill. Significantly less then 47% of the physical sales are at brick and mortar is my point.
