When it comes to sports, if I had a dollar for everytime Ive heard “I prefer college football to the pros” or “I dont like basketball, they only play hard in the last 2 minutes”. I love it cause even tho Im already on default that they are racist, this lets me know to really not fuck with them.

This was a setup by the good_ole_boys® in the department because they did not like the diversity efforts. They weren’t getting the promotions so they did this. Amazing how fast they acted upon this. If it were POC officers claiming such, I doubt there would be such speed.

She could certainly use her celebrity to help hire more diverse people in creative roles. But expecting her to turn down roles especially as older actresses…

Applause. Well said. What we need is more roles for Black women. Not policing over which kind of Black gets to play a handful of roles.
