The Tracy Morgan character in 30 Rock put me off the show. I watched most of the first season and while Alec Baldwin (my favorite of the ensemble) and Tiny Fey were wonderful, Tracy Morgan's sense of humor and overall personality/mannerisms was so grating and unfunny that the other parts of the show couldn't

Excellently put and I would add that one of differences between the songs on Currents and Lonerism is that Lonerism's style is more gripping in that it feels like its songs demand to be listened to. For example, whenever "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" comes on, I have to divert most of my attention to it as it

That was delightful :P

Glad to see Don Hertzfeld's World of Tomorrow get a nomination for Best Animated Short Film. His work on that and It's Such A Beautiful Day hold a special place in my heart.

Palpatine had essentially total control over the political and economic landscape after Episode III. The Separatists were comprised of the Trade Federation, Intergalactic Banking Clan, and Techno Union; very large and influential. Then you had those that stayed within the Republic and so you can see how he played both

I love to hate him and his little goblin chuckle is so perfectly obnoxious it always gets a laugh out of me.

His goblin-like chuckle is perhaps my favorite thing about him. To quote Scott Pilgrim, "What a perfect asshole."

About the same impression I had, as well.

Well, Palpatine took over the whole galaxy and set up the near-eradication of the Jedi Order. He manipulated everything so as to further these goals and largely succeeded.

My childhood exposure to Harry Potter was reading the books by day and listening to the Jim Dale narrated audiobooks by night. His wonderful voice and accent are perfectly attuned with JK Rowling's prose and it is an excellent example of when 1+1=3.

Oh yes, the prose Rowling employs in those first few chapters is absolutely delightful.

Yeah, I'd chalk it up to you and the show not being on the same wavelength. No problem with that, I just feel you're missing out :)

I read ya, friend ^_^

I saw somewhere that Caldiero got to choose whether to go first or not and decided to let Britten go first so he could get the distinction of FIRST, knowing that Caldiero would beat him.

True enough. I don't even have cable, I watch everything online.

Which is a damn shame. Colbert is much more entertaining and intelligent.

I especially like it as well. It has a very Spaceman Spiff-esque feel to it all.

"Denial Twist" 's video is hella fun. I love Gondry's work.

I see what you mean, but I still think their bigger songs are still pretty good. "I Won't Let You Down", "The Writing's On The Wall", and "This Too Shall Pass" are very enjoyable songs with incredible videos.

Very impressive!
