I'LL BE THERE!! LOOK FOR THE GUY IN A TATTERED BRIAN DAWKINS JERSEY AND A SOFT PRETZEL IN EACH HAND!!

YOU JUST CALL WAWA A GAS STATION? FIGHT ME, BRO! NAME THE PLACE AND THE TIME AND I WILL MAKE YOU RUE THE DAY YOU EVER INSULTED MY LOVE FOR A WAWA!

Oh man, I just finished reading all the Marlowe novels, so I've got a lot of thoughts on this. I didn't love the book as much as you did (liked Little Sister and Farewell, My Lovely more), but I think that last chapter's key for showing just how ugly and self-defeating Marlowe can be. It also makes Playback, the final

It fucking kills me whenever anyone suggests Subway while we're within range of a Wawa, which has hoagies that are a thousand times better for the same price (during Hoagiefest, at least).

This somehow makes me like her a little more, mostly because the idea of a belligerently stoned T-Swift heckling passerby in a singsongy voice is hilarious to me.

Alright, I'll bite: you got any secondhand horror stories that help explain the "sociopath" label?

lol

Come on, don't do this. Is it possible that 11 separate deranged people conspired to collectively come out of the woodwork to smear Bill Cosby's good name? Sure. Is it possible that there's a global satanic conspiracy to weaken the Catholic Church by creating false stories of child abuse? Sure. I can do this all day.

Nah, fuck Franzen.

Rebuttal: Migos make the Beatles look like a three-year old banging a piano.

First off, you gotta understand that I have a completely irrational love for both Pusha and Ma$e (thus the avi), so I'm not gonna stand for someone implying that "Let Me Love You" is anything less than a masterpiece.

No Pusha T on this list? Come on! Clipse was huge, but once Malice found God there was definitely a down period in his career. Then he signed to GOOD Music, had a whole bunch of amazing features on MBDTF and Cruel Summer, and now he's got the rightful spot on hip-hop's A-List that he's always deserved. Thanks to

I've been going through a big noir/crime fiction kick, so my answer has to be Tracer Bullett. The art's beautiful and the tone just perfect.

It's one step above being the guy who, in correcting someone, reveals a little too much knowledge of the age of consent laws in the surrounding states.

It was my first time reading Pynchon, but I wasn't blown away by the book. I've been reading a lot of Chandler recently and never really felt like it worked as a noirish work, but I'll grant that it was amusing and never dragged.

Old fashioned hymns: solid to pretty good.
Black gospel: fucking incredible. Seriously, the black church had maybe the single largest influence on the development of rock (Little Richard is just one of many examples) and even today a gospel show is one of the best musical shows money can buy.
Anything in between: awful,

Gonna go against the grain here and say that Lowe is insightful, sure, but a thoroughly mediocre writer who really needs a good editor.

I'll defend that album to the death.
