Yes basically the various ‘pro’ 8bitdo controller lines do work on IOS 13 and up, but it’s slightly harder to get going the first time than would be ideal. You need to both boot the device into macos mode as several people here have mentioned, but there is an additional one time only step that is needed on the IOS…
