He's always worked in it for me as "guy who really knows better but doesn't want to," but it is definitely not the kind of role he's best suited for.

My boyfriend's reaction to The Revenant's poster was "no way that's Leo, it's gotta be Viggo Mortensen or someone." And now I can't get over the idea of how amazing Mortensen could be in that role.
The first season of The Shadow!
I am stupidly fond of Lady from Shanghai, although I acknowledge that aside from the climax it has less to offer cinematically than, say, Touch of Evil.
I think that after 2000, everyone not voting Republican is going to be aware of the danger of splitting the vote and act accordingly.
The King of the Hill animators were actually really serious about their job, they put a ton of work into creating a reality for the show (in terms of things like space, and I'd say the character designs). I never quite liked the style, but I admire the work. I wish someone on network would go for that again.
I'm surprised you were able to type that, considering you don't seem very able to read.
Subtlety has NEVER been part of the genre.
Man, a good old-school gothic SHOULD be totally obvious. That's part of the fun.
God but that Eastwood movie is going to be so unnecessary and unsatisfying after Hanks' work in Captain Phillips (not to mention Greengrass' direction)
I think the really brilliant thing about Fury Road is that it has these little moments that still feel like they're propelling the movie forward while quietly establishing character. I'm not sure about this choice as best scene, but it's a fantastic example of that.
The first ten minutes of The Other Guys ALONE earns him huge credit in my book.
Oh, I fully accept that I am probably a dingbat! I feel that life is a process of going from being worse than a dingbat, to being a dingbat, to hopefully being better than a dingbat.
But if we're talking sea disasters and famous paintings, how many references does it have to the Wreck of the Medusa?
I AM a millennial dingbat, and I would also pay for this ban.
I would point out that the stars also aligned in terms of the performances in Sixth Sense.
Fair on Vader. I love Han but he strikes me as more a pure play on the "scoundrel with a heart of gold" type than anything else, which I don't really qualify as three dimensional because the different aspects are all so anticipated.
…are there three dimensional characters in Star Wars at all? I love it, but I'm not really coming up with one (other than maybe Obi-Wan, but a large part of that is likely just Alec Guinness).
Is there a release you'd recommend?
Well I'm definitely not going to fault you for that.
