My view of Lovecraft’s “impossible angles” was that they were somehow built with more than just 3 dimensions. For instance, it’s true that triangles drawn on a flat surface have 180 degree totals, but if they’re drawn on a sphere the degree total can be anywhere from 180 to almost 540 degrees.

This show is so, so odd. I honestly wasn’t expecting to like it but the AMAZING cast and low-key horrifying conceit really pulled me in.

That poor man and his family. How much of a coward are you if a stick scares you when you have a gun?! The terrifying thing is the deaf community is already so isolated and many are afraid of dealing with the police. This will make them more reluctant to report a crime.

It’s absolutely Rand. He makes the show almost unwatchable. I was neutral in the whole IF kerfuffle (because I refused to watch it). Then I watched The Defenders. The dude is an abyss. The blandness, the entitlement, the white savior complex of a rich guy who abandoned his post...just ugh.

To add to that, the Defenders actually requires being semi up to date on the previous shows. I personally haven’t watched it because I just finished Luke Cage and haven’t even started Iron Fist yet. It has an internal mechanism that likely blocks binging where DD season 2 required you only watch one previous season,…
