I remain skeptical as well. However, I felt it would not be appropriate to question the delivery guys financial decisions further.

I think the issue was in using the 44 cases in 1.2 billion statistic, without any scientific rigor in coming up with that number. I don’t think the part of the study with 300 simulated coughs is being called into question. Also, it was not clear if the 44 cases in 1.2 billion statistic was in the study or just part

Yeah, it was silly because he could not pull into people’s driveways because of the size. He had to park on the street and walk to the home/building.

Since Jalopnik doesn’t agree to press embargos and keeps wrecking their press cars, I can’t say I am surprised.

I had a pizza delivery guy pull up in a F-350 crew cab long bed diesel dually. I couldn’t help but ask how the fuel costs didn’t cut into his profit. He just said ‘it gets 22 mpg so it’s not that bad’.

I think the goal is to have EVs in every segment. If GM is serious about EV, then there is no way they would leave their best performing segment out of the mix.

Maybe, though the Avalanche ones don’t get in the way too much. They flare out so they are wider than the bed.

I gave up on those tool boxes long ago. They are just magnets for thieves. Too easy to break into and walk away with.

I’m not denying that. It was just a weird mix of states. NC is very middle of the pack and MI has had pretty stringent regulations.

We really don’t have great treatments for the flu. If anything, the treatments for severe symptoms of the flu vs COVID are about the same. If either one results in ARDS, the treatment is very similar. The difference obviously being the flu is mostly limited to the respiratory system where SARS-CoV-2 can also infect

Most per 100,000? I mean TN is top 10, but that is not a list of the most/100,000.

Everything I have heard from people in China says that the COVID numbers from earlier this year are easily off by a factor of 10-100. It got bad there. Also, the first cases were probably months earlier than reported.

Where are you getting this? At best, TamiFlu helps about 37% of the people with severe illness. It is not exactly a cure. Remdesivir is probably about as helpful, if given early enough. The flu vaccine does all of the heavy lifting.

Why pick out those states? None of the states you mentioned are even in the top five based on the rt value. NC is less than 1, and GA is at 1. Also, those states did were not amongst those that set record highs last week.

I’m pretty sure this is the owners, I don’t want to sell it price. They probably want to keep it on the showroom for the owner to occasionally take it for ‘test drives.’

Who knew it only applied when going over 20 mph in the year 2020? How else can we explain this year?

Yeah, but if you are rolling in a Rolls, it might be worth the fine to keep the emblem. They probably have the money for it.

Kinda makes me wonder if they are going to be the Grinch and steal everyone’s Christmas lights.

Also, what about other lighting features? I mean next they will be taking our stars, which are the only stars one can see in the city anyway.

That is my point. People who suggest truck drivers underutilize their trucks must not look in the mirror too often, because most vehicles are not used to their maximum potential everyday.
