Unless they updated the VIN information to match removing the features, I think he has a case.

if the build quality is solid and the space is well-utilized it might not be a bad buy!
In actuality, not many of us were ever ‘cool’ to begin with. I don’t think it is as much coolness of other cars as much as blandness of the minivan. They are like the jack of all trades but master of none. They are most useful when the kids are in car seats. After that, they fail to provide functionality above other…
As someone else noted, they only do the free oil change when the indicator comes on. On my wifes car, it was every 15,000 miles, give or take 1,000. Someone else indicated it was 10,000 for them. Either way, it is a long time.
Most of the time, those free maintenance plans have limits. Like X number of oil changes a year. For BMW it used to be 1 per year. They would use 15,000 mile oil and say it should last a year. If you drove more than 15,000 miles, then you would have to pay for an oil change.
I had one on my Chevy as well.
Twas the 70s. This kind of thing was common. My town had a ban on cruising (couldn’t pass the same point more than 2-3 times a night) because of this sort of thing. Gas was cheap. No cell phones to play with. This is what a lot of people did for fun.
I am not saying you begrudge every car, but you argument is so broad it basically can apply to most cars featured here. Most are not pratical.
I was specifically referencing your idea the object would be propelled backwards to the car behind.
There is nothing wrong with the CRV. CRV drivers on the other hand....Let’s just say there are some that pull the average down for all CRV drivers.
What are you planning to carry? A 55 gallon full of liquid drum on it’s side where it could roll towards the tailgate? If so, invest in some ratchet straps.
Why are these useless nonsensical variants of a TRUCK, that CAN’T DO TRUCK STUFF, and cost WAY more than most people make in a year a good use of R&D for technology development...
On the hood of the car directly behind waiting at a stop light... could be problematic.
Board member A: We are trying to appease the environmentally savvy shopper, but it is not working. We built an electric car, a very efficient hybrid and made hybrids out of our other cars, and people didn’t buy them.
Are you TRYING to dump everything in the bed onto the road behind you?
Honestly, I don’t know how to respond because your own arguments counter each other. For your first point, it seemed you were not aware of historic terminology, and I was using older terminology. That wasn’t hard to respond to.
eep an eye on your pets.
Sadly enough, there is a by-law in our HOA that says how long is too early. 2 weeks if I remember correctly.
This was someone hired by the HOA. We actually PAY her to do this. We had a special meeting about it, but in the end we couldn’t convince the HOA to fire her. Of course, she was there taking names at the meeting, making people second guess saying anything too bad, lest they get on her radar.
I vote ‘not fake’ merely because I have seen similar emails from my HOA. The lady that inspects on behalf of the management company sounds almost exactly like this when she writes to tell people they have more than one leaf/4 sq. ft. in their yard.
