I was more or less kidding. I will say that one of our suppliers recently brought there demo product as a checked bag, technically it was in a very thick cardboard box with styrofoam inside. The TSA opened it to have a look, but instead of opening the box, they cut the side off of the box to see what was inside. The

Does Maaco actually do cheap paint jobs? The one time I tried to get them to paint a tailgate cheaply, they said they wouldn’t do it for less than $400. I asked, ‘But you do a whole car for under $200? There’s a banner in your window for a $189 paint job.’ They said, ‘We don’t actually do that.’

I think some of the hills you will be driving through legally require you to put on snow chains if the weather turns. You might want to look into getting a set. I know several places in Colorado have this requirement.

You have a point. Fleet vehicles are left out in the elements all of the time and never see a bit of wax to protect the paint. The paint probably doesn’t last too long.

Yeah, it could have also been part of a fleet that underwent a rebranding, and they painted everything yellow.

I find it hard to believe there aren’t more white hoods out there, especially HD, compared to yellow. I feel like the fleet sales alone would have put millions of the white ones in the junkyard.

I’m guessing those design cues and the diesel option that was also announce mean they are trying to squeeze every MPG they can out of these, for ad purposes.

I have to wonder/assume they set the air suspension to max for that shot to show how much it could be raised....at least I hope so.

The fact James Hoffa is the current president of the Teamsters proves that unions don’t learn from history.

It would be funny if the fire was due to hiring non-union electricians.

The only reason their adding the diesel option is so they can try to get 30 mpg claim, like with the silverado. Just watch, it will be in every commercial.

If lettuce is doomed because 1:1,000,000 people get sick, we have bigger problems.

Another way of looking at it is why freak out when 100 out of 350 million people get sick? At that low percentage, it could be that those 100 people are just more susceptible than the rest of the population. If lettuce is doomed because 1:1,000,000 people get sick, we have bigger problems.

It is almost as if making up absolute yet inconsistently applied rules to govern an ever evolving form of communication is an exercise in futility.

Just before Thanksgiving I got new tires, but the place I bought the tires didn’t do alignments. I figured I would take it to the dealer for alignment, at least they should be able to do it to spec. Apparently not. After I got it back, I kept hearing a pop with low speed steering that I could feel through the

If I am reading this correctly, a 0.0002% chance is very low. Like 1 in 500,000.

The actual numbers were 0.0002% or 0.002 out of 1,000. In other works 2/1,000,000. However, a 1:500,000 chance of a problem does not make for good headlines.

This is why comparative stats ar necessary. This site is continually trying to spin Uber in a negative light. They stretch the truth quite a bit to make their points. That is why they are going to publish numbers only, for psychological impact. Actually taking the time to see how safe it is compared to other services

But then how would they make sensational headlines?

You say unplanned, but the person on the ground clearly had their cell phone out ready to film.
