Why would a shooting of a police officer make the national news? There have already been many cases of cops getting shot this year alone, but none of that is newsworthy. I went to school in a bad part of town and we would get emails anytime the police were shot at close to campus. It happened all the time but would

THIS! Maybe I could see this opinion in most of human history, but now? People used to have many kids they knew they couldn’t feed just to use them for physical labor. In parts of the world that still happens. I understand young people have not been around to literally hear all of the world ending predictions before,

Only if they think they can get a discount or something free out of it.

I’m pretty sure the truck with lift gates have to leave the truck running to run the lift gate. At least the ones I have rented work that way.

Yes they considered wealth in that these are the same districts analyzed over time, pre and post retrofit. So unless there was an dramatic increase in wealth in most of the districts studied, wealth shouldn’t be a factor.

Also, planes don’t typically have to avoid pedestrians in the air.

In the video they say the throttle body is just for air. Fuel is delivered through FI.

For anyone who didn’t get the reference.

I think you missed the point where criminals vote overwhelmingly for democrats. The last study I saw found over 70% of felons released from prison registered as democrats. So it makes perfect sense for them to support it, because the new amendment in Florida probably just won them 2020, and they are looking to expand

In my experience, the WSJ is wrong. The gen zers are more obsessed with convenience than millennials. They hate anything that requires extra work or may interrupt their schedule. They literally think cars are too much work and if they had a breakdown or a flat, it would be such a traumatic interruption  to their

I don’t understand who is held accountable, the joke writer or the person who delivered it? I mean, you would think he would have someone to vet the jokes for him, but I seriously doubt he writes that many. I remember a lot of late night programs ran reruns during the last writers strike, but I don’t remember if he

Supposedly, it should sustain zero damage, but I was trying to look it up and they may have lowered the speed to 2.5 mph. Still, I don’t see that grille holding up well.

I don’t see it coming to the US because that grille where the bumper should be would not pass the 5 mph crash test without damage, as is supposedly required.

Look up the high desert edition. It’s basically the Avalanche bed on a silverado.

The bedside boxes are great. They are actually longer than most people realize. Even though the opening is only 18 inches or so, the box itself continues most of the length of the bed. It’s great for broken down fishing poles and other long objects. They were supposed to reintroduce bed boxes with the silverado high

True. Last time we were moving we had the avalanche and my fathers extended cab silverado w/ 6 ft bed. We ended up using the avalanche for the longer items and the silverado for the shorter items. His truck is 20 ft long but felt like it had less usable space.

I don’t disagree that user input is probably a bad word for companies these days. Lately, I find my biggest problem is deciding if it is worth taking the baby seat out to lengthen the bed. It’s just so much trouble to put back that I find myself wanting to just let stuff stick over the tailgate.

I’m not denying that, but you have to admit it is rare a car undergoes a complete architectural change like this, front to mid-engine, without changing names/brands. To be honest, I am surprised GM has the balls to go all in on this change. I think the true vetters will be stronger than most.

Volkswagen’s designers have done some interesting things here, where they’ve provided a flip-down door in the rear of the cab that, when coupled with the rear seat folding down, effectively makes a longer cargo bed.

Probably not. There will be a ‘last true vette’ crowd.
