I’d try to park next to a bush or wall to hide the dent, or get a car cover. I had a place that didn’t like my truck. So I backed it into a parking spot where the bushes hid the bed from the road. Never had trouble after that.

Thanks for the clarification!

David was probably assigned this article first, but as he started typing and got to the section about “If the cars were disabled, heavily dented, rusted, unsightly, they assumed the property was poorly operated and their neighbors would be unacceptable”, he broke out into a cold sweat, which dripped into his keyboard,

I guess New York can no longer make fun of Boston for shutting down at night for maintenance. Erik is correct. This will lead to a near permanent nightly shutdown for maintenance, because they will never finish this way.

Half the reason I buy online is it is hard or impossible to find some stuff in stores. If the store had a kiosk or something that would tell me where to find what I am looking for, and if it is in the store, it would make it so much easier. HomeDepot does pretty well in this regard. I can check online if they have

Your comment was about taxation. The taxation is equitable (assuming you understand the meaning of the word). If you want to discuss redistribution of wealth, that is a different subject; however, since most of that wealth is in the form of stocks and not liquid, it is not likely to happen anytime soon.

I thought this was one of the crazy ideas that people had about self driving cars; that gangs could stop the car just by standing in front of it then harm/rob the occupants. Is that turning out to be true?

Top 20% has 80% of the wealth and pays 80% of the tax and it is not equitable?

Did you know if someone tows a vehicle far enough, 60 feet in my state, it is considered grand theft auto? Might be worth a mention.

Is it always ICEing? It seems sometimes people park in these places for convenience or because the other spots are taken.

Pretty sure it would not have made much difference since the truck was on ice and the tesla was on dry pavement.

I would take issue with this comment, except one time my father got stuck in the mud and called some friends to help him get out. They made a bunch of noise and the neighbors called the cops. One of the ‘friends’ was the sheriff. When he got the call, he was like, ‘I’m already on the scene and will have it taken care

I believe moving someone else’s vehicle over 60 feet can be considered grand theft auto, depending on local laws.

I had this problem in Boston. The bigger problem was even if I took it to a car wash, none of them did an underbody wash. Even if I asked the people working there about it, they look at me like they never had this question before and say they can try to wash the underside.

The report didn’t say whether he really had any Christmas gifts with him.

Wait, so he never even attempted off roading this rig? He could at least take the tires with him and put them on when he got to the sand.

My experience is a lot of SUV owners have boats, trailers, campers and what not they use occasionally, and need an SUV for those times. I find an SUV with a light trailer better for actually hauling people + stuff than a truck.
