My bad. I was actually trying to say the emergency alerts are good but probably didn’t phrase it well because I was having a bad day.

Since the seller has already got it inspected and registered it, NP.

find the prospect of Hilary being president somehow less preferable than having a president who is a narcisstic, egotistical, compulsive liar; who is totally unfit for the job; who is loathed by all of our allies; who is a point of howling laughter for our rivals and critics; who inherited a vast fortune of millions

This is a FEMA alert. They are the ones in control of it. Obama was the one that signed it into law. They just called it presidential because it is meant to relay information on national level emergencies. Trump doesn’t have direct control over it. There are laws in place to govern what messages can be sent. Have you

Are you on the DNC payroll or something? Because if you are, they need their money back. You are not even making sense and this point. This has nothing to do with following Trump. The presidential alert has been on phones for years. Obama signed it into law. All they did was test it to make sure it works. There are

Okaaaayyy..I got one in the wee hours one day. It was about a tornado that was heading to my house. The tornado ended up missing my house by 1/4 mile, but close enough that I am glad the phone alerted me.

Also funny that you can’t turn off the presidential alert. So turning the other off is meaningless.

I saw a chicken house blown over by a tornado. I mean a big one. 50,000 chickens were released. Within two days they had cannibalized half of the population. I expect by the end of two weeks, there were just a few really fat chickens left, but they would have been tasty.

Just realized the original author of the NYT piece released a follow up piece to explain some things better. It says again. The problem is the kids arrive alone, are put into foster care and no one comes forth to sponsor them. It is still Trump’s fault, if that makes you feel better, because the families are scared to

Wait. Did you not read the New York Times article this is based on? Not the link that goes to another gawker article that doesn’t really explain the numbers.

This. Unless you live in a blue state, you would not understand feudalism is alive and well in the US.

Bill Clinton...That’s why...They tried to make a perjury case with him and basically he did it, but they still couldn’t make it stick.

What do you want them to do? When ICE finds kids in the middle of the desert alone with no adults around, they should just leave them be? When no one volunteers to take foster them, they should just let them go? When all of the foster homes and shelters are full due to a 5x increase in unaccompanied children and not

If you break the law do you expect your children to be taken from your custody and moved to a tent city with no way to contact you?

How about not politicizing something to the point everyone misses the point? Everyone is so busy blaming the other side, they don’t realize these kids need help and the people commenting here could help. They are put in tents because no one came forward to sponsor them and the foster/shelters are full (it does say in

I know you will never see this, but David you really need to update this article. First, everyone in the comments just read the title and jumped to many conclusions. They are assuming that these are kids separated from their families by the government and the only thing that needs to happen is to reunite them. They

I know. Maybe if we actually let people know there are thousands of kids at the border in need of foster care, more people will come forward. Otherwise these kids that arrive in the US without and adult will just end up wards of the state.

A bunch of kids looking for foster care is not exactly a concentration camp. The government ran out of space because not as many people are coming forward to sponsor these unaccompanied kids. Anyone can sponsor them. YOU could sponsor some and keep them out of the tents.

Actually, even though the article fails to mention it, people can foster these children. The government does not want to put the kids in the tents, but there are not enough volunteers to take them in. The child separation policy was shot down as soon as it went to court. It only lasted two months. These are all kids
