What do you do if a dealer sells a car saying it has a feature that you later find out is not there. I’m thinking about things that are hard to test on a test drive, like safety features.

What impresses me most about China’s ability to hurt other economies is their ability to make their people stop buying stuff with just a few news broadcasts. I was there when they had a spat with Japan and not only did people stop buying Japanese goods, they would be destroying Toyotas in the street. China will allow

Thanks

Is there video of this? Because none of the stories I have read say anything about if there was evidence of coaching.

I saw someone in a car like this with DRUM breaks. They looked original. The stopping distance must be massive. Thankfully, I don’t think it ever got above 10 mph.

I never understand this argument. What do we really ‘need’ in any vehicle? A prius will do 90% of what most people day to day with a vehicle. So anything more than that is not needed? A 400 hp sports car is not ‘needed’ because you don’t need that much power to get to work. A car that can pull a lateral G in the

Are you sure this isn’t just differences in how payload is measured? How much can it carry without sacrificing safety/drivability vs. what is the maximum weight it can carry before the frame breaks? Or something?

I’ve heard the BMW plant in SC requires everyone to lease a BMW. Not only do they want them to have a BMW but it has to be a new one.

No mention of Boston, must be fake list.

The policies he proposes would require more than doubling the taxes. Even just the medicare for all plan could not be paid for by doubling the taxes. There have been several studies to show this.

Who the fuck is talking about giving people free rides?

Is this better or worse than convincing poor people you are thhiiiissss close to getting a free ride from the government if you vote for me?

Are we sure the current journalistic structure needs saving? Recently, the media seems more interested in making news and swaying public opinion than reporting facts. (maybe this was always the case and I’m just getting old enough to realize it) If news outlets are giving 19:1 coverage of one candidate vs. the other,

I tend to agree. People don’t generally hang out at airports if they are not traveling, and if you are traveling, they already have your name, photo and other info. They even know where you are going. So this system will just confirm you are actually you.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I should have said discourages the use of criminal history, which is still strange considering the employer could be held accountable for negligent hiring of someone who commits a crime.

My friend had his $500 buick stolen from a bad neighborhood. Just 14 year old kids going for a joy ride. They did care about the condition.

In some states, like Massachusetts, it is illegal for the employer to consider criminal history when hiring someone. In other states, a conviction is required to terminate someone, not allegations. So internet mobs may not be able to motivate the employer depending on state laws. The justice system is the logical
