I am amazed there aren’t more fires due to things like that. When we bought our Volt I bought the heaviest gauge cord I could find. And its only 25 feet long. It barely gets warm. Yet I have seen people with skinny 16 gauge, 50+ foot long cords for theirs. I can only imagine those cords are getting insanely hot.

That hilarious one lot selling Hyundai’s AND Bugatti’s talk about 2 brands with NO cross shopping lol

A lie with a pretty graph is still a lie.

I’m putting my entire fortune into Doge Coin and Elio Motors. Is it still possible to buy stock in Woolworth?

Option 4: You hate the giant screens, lack of actual controls and shit build quality“

I fit into this group.

Yeah, people hate realizing the consequences of thier lifestyles.

I do miss the days when I could be completely oblivious to the consequences of my actions.

I’m an bit option 3 and 4

so basically, “I liked it better when I didn’t know my hyper consumerist lifestyle was killing people and eco systems in far away places, like what do I even care about that for”

Option 4: You hate the giant screens, lack of actual controls and shit build quality. Also, paying for a subscription for extra features. Also, also... dealing with a company that thinks regular OTA software updates for buggy software are a perfectly reasonable way to treat an auto customer. (Barely acceptable for a

And we do have viable electric non-Tesla options now.

Nothing you said will discourage the external view that Americans are insular and don’t know or care about the rest of the world. However, that’s just a crappy generalisation - it’s unfair to judge any individual you might meet based on such a thing. What is ‘wrong’ is assuming that Americans are the only people who

My apologies for my typo, signed a Voltec owner (look closely at my avatar).

Hi...shameless plug here but I have dealer contacts that will order Tellurides to spec and sell them at MSRP

This is the way. I traded in a crossover for stupid money (more than I paid for it last year) and bought a lightly used Mazda3 for below book.

Congrats to a new Volt owner. You get to experience the thrill of owning one and the anger that GM gave up on the Volt-tech architecture.

Yup. I sold a really beat CRV to one of the online “we’ll pick it up” sites for $4000. And I mean...really beat. Every body panel was damaged in some way, missing trim, seats and carpet stained like you wouldn’t believe, and a check engine light for a misfire. It also had over 200k miles on it.

I'm used to people thinking the President sets gas prices or something but car prices is a new one.

I think this is a prime opportunity to let dealers have a taste of their own medicine.
