What helped me improve the most was life drawing. If you can’t find a school that offers it, there are plenty of private classes that do. Don’t be weirded out by drawing naked people too; I mean it’s kinda weird, but whatever, you’re learning.

I stopped reading at 25. I’m sorry, but Memento was a terrible movie that was only interesting because of a gimmicky story and a hackneyed plot device.

If you liked Avatar and are down for reading a series of books, I recommend the Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson. I personally am able to draw a lot of similarities between the two, but Mistborn is much more “grown up” (dealing with religion, politics, and, obviously, much heavier violence).
