when a character is close to death in Mortal Kombat, the announcer says "finish him/her!" that's when you can execute the Brutality/fatality/babality/mercy/friendship/whatever combo for a fancy finishing move with a unique animation for... extra points I guess? Maybe it's just flash, I can't remember.

Some of my favorite games ever didn't have lives in them at all, but still managed to make you want to avoid "death"

I would totally support the idea of Wario coming back as the Wario I love, but unfortunately Nintendo seems to have reduced him to a fat, incompetent bag of farts and nonsensical weirdness.

now all it needs is a Pacific Rim style giant robot vs giant monster fight.

Seriously, who gives a shit?

a similar amount of people freak out over smoked chicken for the same reason: when you smoke it it leaves a pink ring on the inside near the bone, which many people think means it's raw, when actually what it means is it's delicious.

no love for Storm Eagle or Armored Armadillo?

I have a DMC-12. The speedometer tops out at 85, so when I drive it I often have no idea how fast I'm going, even uphill :p

I'm so bloody sick of Melee. Move on people, it's an old game on a dead system, if you want to play it competitively, go take your overdeveloped L-Cancelling and Wavedashing skills to a tourney for legacy games.

no one's excited for Lupin III? Danna ga Wakaranai ken 2?

often there are ID readers, but in my experience this just makes it difficult for tourists to buy beer

If you're talking numbers, Bulbasaur is only first because it's number 001; MissingNo Comes before him, though, at #000 :p

Something about this video seems staged to me, kinda like pro wrestling. The fighting's real, but at least half of it's scripted.

That reaction gives me hope for TCG players. I know a lot of Magic players would be flipping tables over a loss like that, which is sad really. Though it's SOOOOOO rewarding to beat those guys with your jank deck (or a starter deck in this case)

Can you guys have a section that says who the publisher is? I know most of them were Marvel or DC, and Saga is Image, but otherwise I can't tell just from the descriptions. I know some of these are indie publishers too, which is fine, but if it's a big one I'd like to know which

My alltime favorite mobile game so far is Outwitters by One Man Left. Great strategy game that's pick up and play simple, but deeply complex at higher levels, combined with a cartoony and cute art style. It's great fun, and it'll be coming to Android soon as well so I hope for a resurgence of players into it in the

They allow Project M to exist, this is basically the same concept, except instead of changing gameplay, they're changing appearance.

a sword that massive should have no trouble cutting clean through that zombie head. Either it's dull as hell or he just isn't swinging it right.

The one for Brawl is slightly off. Snake was rated higher than Meta Knight at first. Also funny ow Captain Falcon has no data after April 2012 lol

Trinity Seven is OK. It's basically Serei Tsukai no Blade Dance played sideways though.
