My ‘09 BMW 135i...

I was all “Foof, I don’t want to watch a 7 minute video just to see one jump.” Then I realized it’s Gymkhana with a stadium truck.

I can see how these will become collectors items unto themselves:

You don’t bring back a rotary car to become profitable.

Anytime I can suggest the V12 E38 I do. This is pre-facelift, too. Black on Black and I’d prefer the ///M Split-Spoke Sport wheels, but these are OK.

Yes yes yes. Thank you.

I’m so glad this is so far up your list. I’ve had this movie in my Top-5 of all movies for about 10 years, and I’m so happy to see more people are coming around to it! Just like another movie that’s been in my Top 5 for years: ‘Bound’, more people are coming around to that as well.

I burned up my clutch on on my 135i at about 5,000-ish miles back in ’09. They refused to replace it under warranty claiming that the car had been tracked (which it totally had, BUT STILL!). They went so far as to have a BMW rep come out and “confirm” this.

Nice! I have my parents’ Sears knock off one. Still love it.

Is that a f#$king Eames chair up in the loft?!

I have this book. It’s pretty sweet.

Yes the 2-series was supposed to be for “us”, but in reality it is the cheapest way to get a BMW badge on the front of a car. Ergo, people who are not enthusiasts for driving, but rather enthusiasts for what badge is on the front of their car.

My dad had one of these and it was awesome. Very fast and understated. And; cooling seats!

Oh, thank you for that. I thought you were about to defend the shIthole that is NYC, but you took a turn for the better. I loath NYC as much as Homer Simpson.

“Buy this electric car to help save the planet... Wait, wait... don’t charge it.”

I’ve always loved the C8... it was literally the only reason to watch a couple minutes of the Basic Instinct sequel.

Yeah, I know they don’t sell to fleets. I guess I could’ve added that.

What might not suck: This is a good coaching staff!

We used to rent Mitsu Outlanders when I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car (10+ years ago) and I will say that the interiors held up pretty well. Can’t speak for the Acura at all as we never had Hondas/Acuras in the fleet.

Didn’t Jolopnik just have an article making fun of Chevy for making fun of Ford’s aluminum trucks? This is the second story I’ve seen on here highlighting issues with Ford’s aluminum-bodied trucks.
