So what you’re saying is; the answer again is always “Miata”?

I’ve been out of the RC game for awhile, but I we being shown her driving the RC F1 with a smartphone? Are they doing that now? It seems like she and the phone were just stuck in there to look like it is that much more futuristic.

I agree with, or at least can understand the argument for, every car on this list. However, an argument for the ‘03 350Z could easily take the place of more than a few that actually made the list:

Yet... the title... “Carrey”.

Careful man, while this is Jalopnik, it’s also a Gawker website; views like that are dangerous.

Cars are art.

I did really dig the morphing thing, though.

I was at the First Look For Charity event for the Chicago Auto Show the year they were touring the new GT. They also had an original GT40 on the stage. I wasn’t anywhere near the Ford stage, but they fired up that classic GT40... inside McCormick Place, and it had to be one of the loudest things I’ve heard in my life.

I felt the same way about Porsches for so long. However, a couple of years ago as I was just starting my 30s, my opinion turned. I still don’t care as much for new Porsches, but definitely Porsches I remember not liking when I was younger are now really attractive to me. Maybe it is like how I didn’t like girls when I

I had an XJ (RIP Jeena) that either the head gasket split or maybe the block went. Who knows, but I just put it on CraigsList for $600, said it wasn’t running and to bring a trailer. That sucker sold in about 4 hours. I just wish I had asked for more money.

I see the argument for the 787B, but for the exact reason you say it isn’t: A lot of the other cars mentioned by people were designs that didn’t do anything, but here was a radical design, that WON, and yet the very thing that set it apart (rotary engine) really never took off.

I’m renting one of these when I got to Scotland. Sadly Avis only offers them in auto, but I still can’t wait to drive through the Cairngorms in this thing.

I’ve always loved the Ferrari 348. Just 90s enough. Starting bid is $40k, and the listing has pictures like this:

Always the answer:

Isn’t this essentially what Chevy did with the Malibu in the mid 2000s? I remember when I worked for Enterprise they had Chevy “Classics” which were just rebadged old Malibus after the update came out.

So I guess it does mater to you what color people are. You asked a bunch of car people who they thought were cool car collectors and we answered. Are you implying that we hunched over our computers and said “Well, we BETTER populate this list with old white men. That show those minorities... MWAHAHAHAHA!”

Awesome. I actually saw this sinkhole and the cars that went down are now on display as they were when they were pulled out. Bananas.

Just because I am in love with these V12 E38s (Especially with the M wheels and if they are black on black):

This article/question is garbage. Everyone knows it’s not the size of the ship, but the motion of the ocean.
