People were harassing suspected members long before Mahohon’s apology and management’s official response, but yeah. They may not be 100% innocent but they don’t deserve this either. And they very well could be innocent.

Changing words costs quite a bit if they are actually part of the language or libraries. Most of these changes seem to be in the documentation and internal workings though, so the cost is minimal. It’s still misguided and foolish, however.
