Well bugger me, I really didn't see either of those twists coming.

Lesbians can have male friends. The fact Watson thinks there's a romantic relationship and says so is just part of the heteronormativite conditioning.
We see UCK OFF, then it cuts to Sherlock and not-Faith in Leicester Square (I think it was Leicester Square) and they keep walking, including over the Millennium Bridge and have the conversation where they talk about walking all night, maybe, bollocks is a long word. Sherlock is certainly childish enough to spell out…
Agreed, I couldn't remember the name off the top of my head, but Harold Shipman came through as well as Saville to me.
I really hope they don't go there, they're just not good at writing it so it ends up detracting from the show.
In fairness the splinter of destiny has, to date, only had local effects - it's healed people it's touching. It may have other effects too, like making the person it healed 'holy' for a while (they need to test that with Nick, but Monroe was healed too and didn't see the marks so it's either temporary or it's related…
Generally, I think always in fact, they've taken a pretty solid view of their romantic relationships and played the humour in friendships, sibling relationships, situations and so on.
With more episodes I'd like to have seen more of single Evie but her conversation where she asked Xavier to imagine what he'd do if the world didn't end really explained why she left Timothy. She can't see a future with him and he doesn't actually make her happy, she feels comfortable and content with him but not…
It may or may not depending on other things. But Xavier has been moving more and more from charming but goofy to kind of creepy. I don't think it was con-man creepy but I think it's fair it would come as a shock, make her think and in light of the other things he's done maybe make her feel like she needs to reassess…
Not necessarily in Berlin actually, I have a shot from a friend's wedding in Berlin and there are three people in the background that could easily pass for Lana Wachowski, based on the hairdo. But yes, walking through the middle of the shot like that, it pretty much had to be her.
Having had a bit of time to think about it, I don't care whether the emotion was expert manipulation or genuine, although like him I tend to genuine.
That's fair enough. I found at the time if I engaged my brain too much it kept say "But…" and it detracted from how much I was enjoying it, so I turned it off and just enjoyed it. But each to their own.
100% agree and +1. Only bad news is the wait until May for more new stuff!
I've not seen them as a triple bill, but I'd not react well to one of them: Man of Steel was tripe. Jupiter Ascending isn't great but it's brain-off fun. Deadpool is one of my top 5 movies of 2016.
This is the first time I haven't watched the show properly. I don't know what's happened but somewhere they've lost that sparkle although some of the elements remain great.
Agreed, although even in this episode which is the first one I've really hated I liked the cold open.
This. +50!
She's an academic in a liberal arts subject. She forgets she's being written by a bunch of script writers and goes for the person with the degrees in the time capsule, even if she doesn't understand his subjects… Rufus, rather than the soldier who just wants to obey orders and shoot peeps.
While I'm not Frank's biggest fan, there's a huge difference between what he did with his anger and jealousy and what Romero I think it was did. They both got angry, yes, but only one resorted to physical violence. The shot made it look very menacing because we know Julie is due to be killed by the Nightingale Killer,…
As a non-straight happily non-single woman, I'd negotiate with my partner (who is also into her) for some threesomes…
