I'm like you, I could have had more of everything but unlike Les I came away feeling they'd stuffed the episode full with a nicely judged bit of rat v cat background noise in the MOTW and moving all the arc elements along nicely.

I'm a long way from the US and the issues therein so I have an intellectual appreciation rather than a living in the environment appreciation of all the ramifications but as soon as she started chanting 'Ferguson' I winced. I'm sure it does happen but in a cage with Liv when she's signalled strongly she's worried

Except the questions that arise in episode 13 of course. We have to hope there's a season 2 for the answers to those!

I didn't read the comics and my first thought was ex-lover when I saw them together. Even later on, when their real relationship is made clear there were flashes when I thought 'the shippers will use that scene, that moment, to fuel a million stories' so I think that reading isn't unreasonable.

You're entitled to your opinion, but mine differs.

It might be heresy but I thought Daredevil was ok-to-good. I'd give the season a B or B- overall, although some episodes stood out as much better. Jessica Jones I'm up into A- or A territory. It's that much better for me.

I agree. I find I don't mind them bringing Nick and Adelind together, I think there's lots of fun there, but mopey, useless Adalind is wearing and boring. I'm willing to say she's on best behaviour but I hope some snark comes back soon.

In fairness I have seen the Coldstream guard, in and out of uniform at a bonfire. I was invited to their regimental bash by a friend from uni many years ago.

Spike and Buffy? They played a different beat with Buffy hating herself first time but the Scoobies accepted him pretty much. When he came back with a soul they all forgave him, including Buffy.

I agree there's lots of holes - it depends on how they actually did the house-buying arrangements. But the writers want Nick to move, so hand-wavium is being applied!

I don't agree it takes Cordy levels of explanation. She made a choice between Renard and the rebels and the main line of the royals knowing she was burning bridges with the others when she did that.

Juliette is a vet remember, I don't know about the US but in the UK they pull in a lot more in earnings than your typical cop. Add the two wages together and a nice house isn't out of reach.

Rosalee's always been the one that does empathy, usually followed by Monroe, but he has big lapses from time to time. I wasn't surprised it played out that way, especially since R&J were BFFs.

In fairness she appeared a lot in flashbacks, I think she has to be credited for that, no?

Amell is 34. But a Canuck… not qualified to lead the US. He (probably) easily qualifies to be PM of Canada. You have to be 18 and Canadian, and asked to be the leader of the country according to Wikipedia. That *tends* to mean you're older and the leader of the largest political party in parliament but it's not a

Diggle. Go for Digg, not Ollie, John!

Damien is in the sub-sub-basement, extra-secret lair. Whenever he charges up his chalice thing, all the electrics blink out…

Re the Curtis/Felicity thing - there's a big difference in time. Curtis' brother died 5 years ago, Ray only 6 months. They're almost certainly at very different points in how they're processing their bereavement. Felicity also has somewhat more complex emotions having dumped Ray for Ollie, then him being a real

I don't watch enough to really agree but he's certainly doing a damn fine job.

At least this time she only pretended not to be turned on!
