It was good enough (despite some very silly moments) that it has me giving it a stay of execution for a week. I still don't really trust it yet but meh, it's a quiet TV day for me, not much competition at the moment.

Not sure how it's organised in the US. It seems like every hospital for itself reading the news reports. In the UK, we have a national service with a few (I think it's 7 but I can't find out and google isn't being helpful) regional centres. So every hospital has a local reservoir but as it gets low, it quite literally…
Ok, bullshit science but genuine news, my apologies to the script writers.
If he had a really rare blood type, maybe… Although not at the point he's in emergency surgery, it would take too long and he'd just bleed out on the table while they were doing the screening.
She doesn't have to lie. She says she's the assistant ME, constantly exposed to airborne blood from all kinds of infected people and a high infection risk. They won't take her blood. Simples.
Wrong accent mind, he said it like an American.
In fairness, Clive knows Liv and as he's said in this episode he doesn't know what he's going to get. But he does know racism isn't normal for her. If she'd carried on, he might have been wondering what happened, why she changed, but I'm guessing he, to carry on the metaphor, chalked it up to 'bad chocolate' on the…
I cringed at the "dog fight" reference although I'm sure such things happen. But despite Liv's brozone take on it I thought the way they handled it worked pretty well. It didn't demean the actress, beyond making her a possible suspect for being tall it didn't comment on her appearance in any way. It made Babineau look…
In a morgue? When you get just bones to give you something to compare them to, so you're sure you get them all right. There are subtle differences between each of the vertebrae and ribs for example, and the various straight bones in the hands, feet, fingers and toes. You want to be damn sure you get them all right…
Got to agree. Addiction, being blackmailed about Liv, terminating zombies. There's lots of ways it ends badly for him and currently not many good endings in sight. His best out might be to rave about zombies very publicly and get committed again… He'd be alive at least although that might be a better dead option.
While I agree about the containment tent they built, TV science is so poor, that got a pass from me. You could probably bodge a decent enough seal with two rings of gaffa tape and a sort of airlock between them. It's not like the virus is motile and as long as that contains the pressure, you might be ok. Cutting the…
If both are true (which is easily possible) then she phrased it really misleadingly. And it's easy to reconcile… Weller's memory is wrong would be the simplest way to do it.
Oddly I agree with your rating but most of the reasons you give don't annoy me at all. The CDC clue isn't time-dependent, the tats have to be on her face or hands to show under the UV, and UV ink is a real enough thing.
Got to say, the way they're burning through plot is intriguing me. There's a load to dislike about this show but the helter-skelter pace and the willingness to burn plot tokens that look like they're going to be at least season long mysteries is kinda fun, at least for the moment.
Delta Force are presented are "extra special" from the Rangers and as having their IDs removed. Special Ops, not special forces.
Technically that's not conflict of interest, it's incompetence. I agree with all your points, just not the label.
Nah, it's not all smiles and rainbows. It improved enough on a poor pilot i'm going to give it another try. That's a long way from all smiles and rainbows. The pilot was close to making me think "Nah, stuff it" but there's little enough around I want to watch at the moment I had the time to watch this episode too.…
So Stapleton is allowed to have some emotions, he just has to keep them toned down compared to Jane. Which is ok because she does scared and confused and unsure well.
Guess what got renewed on Sense8 birthday?
I suppose I accepted it as part of their show. And I don't really know Chicago except from TV shows. It just seems a bit too far to me.
