Exactly. He plays marshalls/cowboys all the time but each one is a completely different character with different quirks and completely different motivations. The fact that he can bring these differences to the forefront (while keeping the cowboy-y feel and persona) is brilliant.

How could you give this a B? This is the best episode of an otherwise underwhelming season. The close-ups, the shaky camerawork, the lighting, the one-shots.... It’s just excelent!!

Laughed so much with this review. And agree completely with every word!! Saw it on Thursday; was utterly disappointed. Everything feels plastic, uninterested, tame. Horrible.

Totally agree with what you wrote. I love Jarmushch (specially Only Lovers Left Alive and Paterson) but this is a huge misfire. I saw it yesterday in Paris and I was utterly disappointed.
