How many electric vehicles did Hyundai release when the company was started? If you’re comparing the price of a first-gen ICE Hyundai to a fully electric Tesla, I don’t think you grasp how astronomically different the development costs are.

Does that mean after the redesigned model comes out it’ll be slower and the battery life will diminish drastically?

Well, I guess not, Porsche has not offered to make an “affordable car” since the 924 and they certainly never will again.

I honestly believe there is more money for Tesla to license their battery and charging infrastructure to other companies rather than have their own lineup.

Before I had to lust after a car (Model S) that was a fantasy because I couldn’t afford it.

Meh, Tesla’s investors are not asking them to make a profit - they are asking them to dominate.

Tesla also has a history of making something that Porsche hasn’t been able to make so far: an electric car which has actually shipped.

The Porsche owners will be shocked.

How is this even possible. I can’t get the car wash machine to accept half my real money until everything is just perfect, correct direction, no too soft from excess use, not even the tiniest of tiny folds on any of the corners, etc., etc., etc.

Here’s some things I’ve picked up...

They always have delivered what the claimed they would in the past eventually, just never on the timelines they claim they will. Plus, they actually put journalists IN the car and did the acceleration with them at the event.
