I think it's important to note that Richie never appeared to be someone who was insecure or shy in his everyday life. Of anyone on the series, he actually seemed the most comfortable in his own skin and confident in who he is… as we could see the first time he walked out on Patrick when the "uncut" issue was brought

I can't help but wonder what Patrick would have said if Richie actually wanted to work things out. I was absolutely dreading they would go there… because honestly, I don't think Patrick would have done the right thing (especially not after his actions tonight).

Aghh… I was so angry during the office scene I wanted to throw my laptop out the window. That's how great this show is. Now, I've read all the bottom shame analysis in Brandon's amazing write-up and the comments above… but I just can't bring myself to buy into it. Bottoming for Kevin so easily made everything Patrick
